Player Development
Do you have a member of your family who wants to learn how to play golf? Are you having trouble with a swing or slice? Or perhaps you’d like to work on your short game. Whatever the issue, our PGA golf professional Fred Hancock can come up with a lesson plan to meet your needs and improve your skills on our course.
Individual lessons cost $45 per (sessions vary in duration anywhere from 1/2 hour to an hour in length). A series of five lessons costs $180.
Group lessons can also be arranged – for a husband and wife, for example, or for a group of beginners.
"I try to take the player’s swing and make it work for him or her," Hancock says. "I don’t try to put a square peg in a round hole. I concentrate on proper setup, proper grip and proper posture. If we can correct those factors, the student improves."
Waupaca Country Club is also very proud Junior Golf program that is open to members of the public as well as to members.
Every Tuesday morning during the summer, our course is open to dozens of young golfers who participate in classes and also play golf with us.

“At Ease” Women’s Classes
These very popular clinics enable absolute newcomers, beginners and those trying to get more comfortable with playing the game to improve. We provide clubs and everything you'll need. See what golf is all about, from putting to the full swing. The format is 3 one-hour sessions meeting once a week for 3 weeks, with a maximum of 8 women per class. $50 per person. Classes will be held on Tuesday Evenings: May 6, 13, & 20, from 5:15 to 6:15.

Friends Program
Complete full swing instruction plus we'll also take a look at your short game and putting game. Instruction is broken down into 3 one hour golf lessons and can be scheduled at you and your partner’s convenience throughout the 2008 golf season. The Friends Program is a comprehensive golf program, perfect for beginners and intermediate players. “Friends” has been a very popular format for friends or couples who are looking for a fun leisure activity to spend time together at an affordable price.

All Waupaca Country Club students will be exposed to general golfing information including rules, history of the game, etiquette, golf procedures, drills, exercise, equipment, etc. The programs will provide students with the building blocks that will enable them to play golf “at ease."
